LEGENDS Traditional composite wood shutters are produced from a proprietary composite/wood material. This proprietary material is produced in shapes used to fabricate shutters.

The rails, stiles, louvers, raised panels etc. are all milled in these shapes just as wood is milled into the shapes (profiles) needed to build the finished shutter products.

The difference is this material is much longer lasting, easier to work with and accepts a paint finish much better than wood.. This opens the opportunity for special shapes and virtually unlimited design possibilities.

The new LEGENDS Traditional composite wood shutter is featured in 38 HISTORICALLY ACCURATE Sherwin-Williams colors selected from their Exterior Preservation Palette and can be painted virtually any custom color for a low extra cost.

The LEGENDS Traditional composite wood shutter has a lifetime-limited warranty for materials and 10 years on the finish. You can order true louver, true operational louver, raised panel, combination raised panel/louver, board and batten,  with arched, curved, cutouts plus the ever popular Bahama style shutters, or any design you may have in mind. They are even available approved for hurricane protection.
