We started with entry-level, inexpensive vinyl shutters manufactured by Mid-America Shutters. After years of selling decorative vinyl shutters, many of our customers were asking for vinyl shutters that were more rigid and stronger. We also heard that the depth of the shutters needed to be greater and the wood-grain look needed to be more accurate and more pronounced. The shutter fasteners also needed to be stronger. We heard our customers ask for arched tops and curved tops that fit the shutters precisely. The new "LEGENDS" Vinyl shutter answers all of our customers' requests and a few more.

These new "LEGENDS" exterior vinyl shutters are injection molded providing more accurate dimensional characteristics, greater strength, more rigidity with greater depth. Yes, they are open backed in louvered and raised panel styles. The great news is that all the Board and Batten "LEGENDS" shutters have solid backing. That's right, no hollow back. The shutter fasteners are 5/16" diameter not 1/4" and the shutter fasteners are included. Another big feature is that many of the shutters are one single piece. Those we do assemble are ultra-sonically welded increasing the strength and integrity of the shutter.

There are 14 standard colors that match Mid-America's shutter colors. NOTE: The colors may have batch color differences and have a slightly different matte finish and a big difference in the wood grain. "LEGENDS" Vinyl shutters are comparably priced to the Custom Mid-America vinyl shutters. We believe "LEGENDS" Vinyl shutters offer the best value in the decorative, vinyl-shutter marketplace.
